Following the victories, Lehman College Head Coach Lesleigh Hogg expressed how proud he was of his teams.
“On the women's side, Jillene Sennon, Dorothy Jean-Pierre, and Lauren Lourick picked up key victories for us, Hogg said. “We were a young team this year and I'm proud of the way they were focused and competed. The men were great as well and it came down to the shot put, which was the final event of the evening, where Jase picked up his second medal and pushed us to victory. Pete also came up big for us in the triple jump event and I couldn't be more proud of him. It was a team effort and I am really proud of all of our competitors on both sides tonight. Now with ECAC's coming up, we'll be sending six and we'll see what happens.”
