With Santa's arrival only a few days away, the Lehman track team in conjunction with the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) looked to spread some yuletide cheer of its own last week as it helped distribute Christmas gifts at the Madison Square Boys & Girls Club-Columbus Clubhouse in the Bronx.

The Madison Square Boys & Girls Club has been an invaluable member of the local community, providing after school and summer programs to help build happy, healthy and productive lives for thousands of New York City's most vulnerable kids.  The center provides education, recreation and guidance programs in a safe and nurturing environment that many of those who walk through its doors consider a second home.

And by the looks of the many smiling faces that day, special things are happening at the Boys & Girls Club.
