The City University of New York Athletic Conference announced its All-Stars for the 2009-2010 men's and women's indoor track and field seasons, and both Lehman College squads were well represented.

On the women's side, Lehman College's Dorothy Jean-Pierre – who medaled in the 1500 at the CUNY championship meet – was given the Sportsmanship Award. In addition, her teammates – Simonie Moore, Jillene Sennon, Janina Browne, and Michaelle Garcon – were named all stars.

For the Lightning men, it was the foursome of Andre Gouldbourne, Irfan Anwar, Oscar Kamalu, and Phillip Akogu being named all stars for their terrific efforts throughout the year. Following the announcement of the all stars for this year, Lightning head coach Lesleigh Hogg gave his thoughts.

“The nine aforementioned student-athletes really dedicated themselves to being the best that they could possibly be, and I feel as though they all deserved the praise. All of them worked diligently to improve themselves throughout the season, and that's exactly what they did. I'm proud of all of them.”
