BOSTON, Mass. – Sophomore Pierre Francois and freshman John Pollina represented Lehman College at the ECAC Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships over the weekend, at the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center. As a team, Lehman tied for 39th place with six points.
Francois (Bronx, N.Y./DeWitt Clinton) was the lead story, as he took home third place in the triple jump with a leap of 14.30 meters. That jump qualified him for the upcoming NCAA Division III National Championships, held next weekend in Lincoln, Neb.
Pollina (Staten Island, N.Y./Tottenville) ran the 3,000 meters, where he finished in 15th place, with a time of 8:53.16.
