Starting today, the committee will be collecting donations to assist the Life Church of Allentown, Pennsylvania, who had an orphanage that they created destroyed by the earthquake. The Life Church has been big in the development of Haiti, before the earthquake. The church established an orphanage, and staff members of the orphanage rotated their time all year to help the continued the development of projects in Haiti. As news of the earthquake hit home, the representatives of the church packed their bags and supplies and went to be part of the rescue operation. The Lehman College representatives showed up at the kitchen and were put right to work, carrying countless articles of donated clothing to the outside of the kitchen for pedestrians to take at their leisure. As noon approached, the Lehman contingent turned its attention towards serving meals, and did so for about an hour and a half. Eric Harrison, who often has his team assist the community, believed the good deeds done by the Lehman representatives put things in perspective.

LEHMAN COLLEGE ATHLETICS/OFFICE OF STUDENT LIFE TO HOLD PEP RALLY THIS TUESDAY
