Associate Head Coach Ivelisse Rosario

After a stellar playing career at Lehman College, Ivelisse Rosario will enter her seventh season as Head Coach Eric Harrison's top assistant for the Lehman women’s basketball team. A four-year team captain, Rosario played a major role in the resurgence of Lehman College women’s basketball, and the school’s first ever CUNY conference championship, and an appearance in the NCAA Division III national tournament. Rosario will assume the role as coach Harrison’s top assistant this season. Her extensive recruiting abilities have helped the Lightning land some of the premiere talent to the Bronx campus. Prior to the 2008-2009 season, Rosario was named Associate Head Coach for her stellar efforts and dedication to the women's basketball program at Lehman

Rosario has the distinction of being the only player in Lehman history to play in every game of her four-year career. Her hard work and dedication paid off, as Rosario finished her career ranked in several of Lehman’s season and career top 10 lists. She currently is 2nd on Lehman’s all-time assists list with 358 dishes, and she ranks first in three point field goals made (183). A three-time Hudson Valley all-star, Rosario also set a Lightning record in making eight three point attempts twice in her career at Lehman; one being in the quarterfinal victory over John Jay College (02/22/02).

During her four years at Lehman, the Lightning have won two Hudson Valley championships and have captured two regular season conference championships. While posting an amazing 89-37 record and going 35-4 in CUNY play over the last three seasons. Rosario will be very instrumental in the development of the Lightning guards. Her extensive knowledge of Coach Harrison’s system will prove effective in her transition from player to coach.

Outside of her coaching duties, Rosario is also the Senior Women’s Administrator and the NCAA Compliance official at Lehman College. She was formerly the assistant Sports Information director, and designed the first Lehman College athletic web site. She still is the designer for the Lehman College athletic page in the Bronx Times Weekly publication.
