Vanessa Rosado (3rd Season)


Vanessa Rosado enters her third season as a member of the Lightning coaching staff. After beginning as an intern, Rosado's role has increased over her three-year stint. A former boxer, Rosado is instrumental in the strength and conditioning aspect of the Lehman program. Her extensive knowledge of personal training, and individual conditioning drills will be vital to the success of the Lightning.

Over three seasons, her basketball knowledge has increased, giving her an extended role in the Lightning day to day activities. Her duties also includes an administrative role with the Eric Harrison & Steve Schulman Basketball Camps.

Vanessa currently resides in the Bronx, with her daughter Janessa.

Sekani Francis (1st Season)



Sekani Francis joins the Lady Lightning coaching staff after a stellar two-year playing career with the men's squad here at Lehman.
Francis, a two-time CUNY Most Valuable Player in 2005 and 2006 will be responsible for the development of the Lehman College post players. His extensive knowledge of the inside game, and his experience as one of the top post players in the game, will give the Lightning a tremendous advantage.

While at Lehman, Francis averaged 18.8 points and 12.4 rebounds per game during his two-year stint. He led the Lightning to the ECAC post-season tournament twice. Francis was also honored by the NABC, as an All-American in his second season. Numerous honors including Metropolitan Sports Writer All-Star, ECAC First-Team All-Star, as well as D3Hoops All-American complete the resume of Sekani Francis.
