Lightning Struggles Continue in the Water as Women Fall to St. Joseph's

BRONX, N.Y. - In single meet swimming action on Tuesday night, the Lehman women ran into another tough opponent in losing to visiting St. Joseph's College (LI) by the score of 106-66 to drop to 1-4 on the season.

Junior Adriana Navarrete was strong in the loss, placing second in the 50-yard freestyle (29.21) and 100-yard freestyle. She nearly captured the 100, missing out on first place by .06 seconds, 1:04.64 to 1:04.58, to the Eagles' Melissa Nocco. Navarrete also swam the opening leg for the women's 200-yard medley relay team.

The Lightning will take a week off to regroup before heading to Old Westbury on December 6 to partake in a dual meet against the Panthers.
