BRONX, N.Y. – The Lehman College Department of Athletics celebrated the 2012-13 athletic seasons at an end-of-the-year banquet, on Monday, May 13, 2013. The 61
st Athletic Awards Banquet honored the best and brightest of Lehman College's student-athletes. And the support network behind them.
Several Lehman College dignitaries attended the gala event, including Dr. Ricardo Fernandez, Lehman College President; Mr. Robert Whittaker, Associate Provost and Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs; Mr. Vincent Clark, Vice President of Administration and Finance; Mr. Jose Magdaleno, Vice President, Student Affairs; Dr. Martin L. Zwiren, Director of Athletics/APEX; Dr. Helene Silverman, Faculty Athletics Representative; Mrs. Cheryl Kramer and Mr. Martin Greenberg.
Over 300 student-athletes, coaches, administrators and guests packed the Faculty Dining Room, as the Department presented several major awards, in addition to Most Valuable Player and Rookie of the Year Awards for each of the 18 varsity sports. A photo gallery from the night

Lifetime Achievement Award, presented to Lesleigh Hogg, former Head Coach, Cross Country and Track and Field

Pedro Vialet Memorial Award, presented to Dr. David Gonzalez, M.D., Montefiore Medical Center

President's Award, presented Tobi Alli, Women's Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field
A special presentation was made to the members of the 2012-13 men's swimming and diving team, who won the CUNY Athletic Conference Championship this past season. Each member of the team, in addition to the entire coaching staff, was presented with a championship ring.
Additionally, each of Lehman College's 18 varsity sports teams handed out awards honoring the Rookie of the Year as well as the Most Valuable Player. That list follows:
