Newark, N.J. – The Lehman College men's and women's cross-country teams took part in the Highlander Invitational, hosted by New Jersey Institute of Technology, on Saturday at Branch Brook Park.

Arlene Suzana was the highlight for the Lightning women as she ran the 5k race in a time of 22:03.1.

On the Lehman men's side, Jormy Polo was the top performer as he clocked in at the 8k at 39:01.7.

The Lightning have one more meet before the CUNYAC Championships later this month as they compete at the Medgar Evers College Legacy Invitational, at Van Cortlandt Park on Sunday (October 20th).
