Lehman College Athletics

Allen came to Lehman in the Fall of 2023 as the Assistant Cross Country and Track and Field Coach. 

Coach Allen was a 2010 graduate of Mount Vernon High School. While a student athlete in high school Allen excelled at sprints, jumps and relays winning multiple All League, All County and state Championships titles in the 4x100m, 4x200m, and 4x400 meter relays.Myla has had the opportunity to compete at some of the biggest high school track meets in the world including Penn Relays and both indoor and outdoor nationals. She took her talents to SUNY Delhi (2011-2012) earning an associate degree in Physical education. While earning her degree,She competed in the TJ, 4X100m, and 4X400m relay winning multiple NJCAA Championship titles and becoming 2nd team ALL AMERICAN in all three events. Allen continued her studies and athletic participation at Buffalo State earning a bachelors in pre- physical therapy with a minor in coaching.

In 2017 Allen made her first coaching debut as head coach of both Men and Women's Cross Country, Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field at Rye Neck High School.Coaching many all county and all league athletes. Allen has helped many high school athletes reach their goal to compete on a collegiate level. Coach Allen has completed her masters in Sports Pathology and Physical Education at Manhattanville College. She is a certified NYS Teacher, Coach and a Physical Therapy assistant.
