The Lightning are proud to welcome back former standout Mylo Mitchell, whose basketball journey has taken him across the globe. After an impressive professional career that included stops in England, Africa, France, Dubai, and Australia, Mitchell returns home to bring his experience and passion back to the program where it all began.
A key member of the Lightning from 2016 to 2018, Mitchell was instrumental in leading the team to a remarkable 21–4 record during his tenure. Known for his leadership, versatility, and relentless work ethic, he helped set a standard of excellence that continues to define the program today.
Since his time with the Lightning, Mitchell has gained invaluable international experience, competing against diverse styles of play and learning from coaches and teammates around the world. Now, he’s eager to share that knowledge and perspective with the next generation of Lightning players. Mitchell also serves as a Physical Education instructor at the Academic Leadership Charter School in the Bronx.
