BRONX, N.Y. - Looking to even its conference record at 3-3, the Lightning men's tennis team instead dropped a 6-3 decision to the College of Staten Island on Saturday afternoon on the APEX tennis courts.

The Dolphins took two of the three doubles matches and then four of the six singles contests.  Lehman's wins came in No. 2 and No. 4 singles and No. 2 doubles.

The pairing of Philip Akogu and Ben Cirilo captured the lone doubles win for the Lightning, outlasting Daniel Ursomanno and Oscar Wu 9-7.

Cirilo continued his winning ways in No. 4 singles as he defeated Wu 6-2, 6-2.  Cesar Andrade grabbed Lehman's other singles win, taking the first set 6-2 from Ursomanno before the Dolphins sophomore retired in the second set trailing Andrade 3-0.

Lehman is back in action on Tuesday for its final conference match of the season as the team heads to Brooklyn to face the Bulldogs.
