PURCHASE, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's tennis represented well, but dropped a 6-3 decision at Purchase College on Wednesday night. The match was played in the bitter cold, with the temperature hovering around 36 degrees.

In doubles action, the Lightning (1-4) claimed third, as sophomore Alex Linde (Bronx, N.Y./Lansing) and junior Andres Restrepo (White Plains, N.Y./White Plains) won, 8-0. Moving on to the singles play, Linde won at fifth, 6-2, 6-1, while Restrepo took sixth, 7-6 (8-6), 6-4.

Lehman will head to the National Tennis Center in Flushing, Queens, on Friday afternoon to face Baruch College, in the CUNY Athletic Conference opener.
