BRONX, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's tennis team dropped a hard-fought, 5-3, decision to visiting Rutgers-Newark on Friday afternoon. Third singles never started play due to darkness.

In doubles play, the tandem of junior Cesar Andrade (New York, N.Y./NYC Lab) and senior Benjamin Cirilo (Bronx, N.Y./Forsythe) won at first, 9-7.

Moving onto singles, Cirilo won at second, 6-1, 6-3, and freshman Gene Nakagaki (Scarsdale, N.Y./Eastchester) won at sixth, 6-3, 6-4.

Lehman will celebrate Senior Day on Saturday, April 20, at 1:00 p.m., when Pratt visits the Bronx.
