BRONX, N.Y. – After honoring the seniors prior to today's match, the Lehman College men's tennis team crushed visiting St. Joseph's College of Brooklyn, 9-0, in non-league action. The match, which is the final one of the season, brings Lehman's record to 3-13 overall, while SJC is 0-10.
The highlight of the match came at sixth singles, where junior Ramon Belliard (New York, N.Y./LaGuardia) won his first college match.
For the four seniors, today marked their final match in blue and gold. They are: Ben Cirilo (Bronx, N.Y./Forsythe), Marcos Coto-Batres (Mamaroneck, N.Y.//Rye Neck), Alex Linde (Bronx, N.Y./Lansing), and Andres Restrepo (White Plains, N.Y./White Plains).
