BRONX, N.Y. – It is a big day in Lehman College athletics as the softball and men's tennis teams will compete in the APEX. For softball, the Lightning will host the Cardinals of York College in a critical CUNY Athletic Conference doubleheader beginning at 4:30 p.m., while the men's tennis team will conclude the regular season, at home, against NYU-Poly at 4:00 p.m.

The Lehman College softball team can clinch a spot in the CUNY Athletic Conference Championships if they win at least one game in the doubleheader.  If the Lightning are able to sweep the doubleheader, they can clinch as high as the fifth seed. Live stats for both games can be found here.

For the men's tennis team, it's Senior Day, as Lehman College will honor Ramon Belliard (New York, N.Y./LaGuardia) and Yve Jay Modi (Ramat Gan, Israel/Clarkstown South), who will compete in the APEX Tennis Courts for the final time of their collegiate careers, with a brief ceremony before today's match.
