BRONX, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's tennis team won its first match of the spring season, downing visiting St. Joseph's College of Brooklyn, 8-1. Lehman is now 1-4, while SJC is 0-2.
Several student-athletes recorded their first college tennis wins today, including sophomore
Dan Harelick (Fair Lawn, N.J./Fair Lawn) at #1 singles and #1 doubles, freshman
Elvis Mejia (New York, N.Y./Brandeis) at #5 singles, sophomore
Edwin Diaz (City Island, N.Y./Westside) at #6 singles, senior
Yve Jay Modi (Ramat Gan, Israel/Clarkstown South) at #3 singles and #3 doubles, and freshman
Astrit Krasniqi (New York, N.Y./St. Agnes) at #3 doubles.
The Lightning will travel to face host York College on Saturday, April 5, at noon.
