BRONX, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's tennis team dropped its CUNY Athletic Conference match to Brooklyn College, 7-2, on the APEX Tennis Courts on Tuesday afternoon. The loss snaps Lehman's three-match winning streak.

The Lightning were led by junior Gene Nakagaki (Scarsdale, N.Y./Eastchester) who won a pair of matches. He earned a victory at #2 singles, 6-2 and 6-3. He then teamed up with freshman CarloJay Maghirang (Nyack, N.Y./Nyack) to win #1 doubles, 8-3.

Lehman will enter the CUNYAC Championships as the #7 seed and will battle #2 Baruch in the Quarterfinals, on the APEX Tennis Courts, on Friday at 4:00 p.m.
