Miami, FL – The Lehman College women's basketball team will conclude their trip to South Florida with a match up against Eastern University later this afternoon. The Lightning and the Eagles will tip-off at 2:00 pm at Immaculata-LaSalle High School in Miami.
The Lightning (3-5) have dropped three straight for the first time since the 2013-14 season. In their most recent outing, Lehman fell to FDU-Florham 74-65 in their opening game at the Hoops MIA D3 Holiday Tournament.
Lynda Fields paced the Lightning with 26 points while playing the entire game. She added three assists and three steals.
Amely Del Rosario and
Shakia Artist tallied 17 and 14 points respectively.
Eastern (7-2) won their other game in Miami, a 68-60 decision over Hartwick. Taylor Price led the Eagles to victory with 20 points. Emily Lavin recorded a double-double with 17 points and 13 rebounds.
