Bronx, NY - After two postponements due to weather the Lightning and Dolphins were finally able to get their match in on the Apex Courts. The College of Staten Island (3-5:2-2) prevailed 6-3. The Lightning loss snaps a two match winning streak.
Gene Nakagaki won both of his matches for the Lightning. The senior was victorious in his singles match 6-2, 6-1. Earlier in the day he teamed with
Jason Strudwick at first doubles to down their opponents 8-6. Lehman also got wins in singles from
Al Joseph Dubouzet.
Lehman (2-7:1-3) has to re-group quickly as the Lightning have matches scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday against John Jay and St. Joseph's (BRKLYN). Both matches will be played at home against on the Apex Courts.
