JAMAICA, NY --- The Lehman College men's tennis team won their first match of the season at York College on Tuesday afternoon, prevailing 7-2.
Freshman
Jason Strudwick was dominant for the Lightning of Lehman (1-6 / 1-2 CUNYAC), winning 6-0, 6-0 at number one singles and teaming with fellow rookie
Andrew Francisco to take the number one doubles bout, 8-5. Strudwick's singles win gives him three victories on the season.
Up next for the Lightning, the team hosts the Dolphins of the College of Staten Island on Thursday at 4:00 p.m.
