Queens, NY – Lehman (5-7:3-2) outscored York 26-5 in the third quarter to add to their eight point halftime lead before going on to win 74-45 over York (1-11:1-3). 

Lynda Fields led the Lightning with 25 points while Amely Del Rosario added 22 points and 10 rebounds for the victors.  Krystal Pearson came off the bench to record a double double as well with 10 points and 14 rebounds.

The Lightning used a 9-3 run to end the first quarter turning a 13-10 deficit into a 19-16 advantage at the break.  Lehman owned a 13 point advantage late in the second quarter before the Cardinals rallied and scored the final five points of the period giving Lehman a 38-30 lead at half-time.  The third quarter was all Lehman as the Lightning outscored the Cardinals 26-5.  The Lightning were able to keep the Cardinals at bay in the final quarter.

Sheahna Roscher paced York with 12 points.

Lehman will continue conference play on Friday night as they travel to Baruch.
