New York, NY – The Lightning (16-8:14-2) outscored the Hawks (12-13:8-8) 23-13 in the first quarter and went on to win 78-63.

Krystal Pearson and Marika Gordon each recorded a double double while Lynda Fields and Amely Del Rosario netted double figures with 13 and 12 points respectively.  Pearson scored a team-high 21 points while grabbing 12 rebounds.  Gordon tallied 18 points and was credited with 13 rebounds.  Pearson and Gordon also combined for 13-13 from the charity stripe. 

Nursing a two point midway through the first quarter the Lightning went on a 13-5 to end the quarter.  In the second quarter the Lightning used an 8-2 run to end the half to take a 43-27 lead into the locker room.  The Hawks actually came back to win the third quarter 17-15 but Lehman prevailed again in the fourth to claim victory. 

As a team the Lightning hit, a season high 18-19 from the foul line.

Jade Aponte paced the Hawks with 13 points.

The Lightning will conclude the regular season on Thursday night as they host Purchase at 7:00 pm in the APEX.
