The Lehman College men's tennis team played a rare home/away doubleheader earlier today.
Lehman took on conference foe Hunter in the morning on the Apex Courts and fell 9-0. Later in the afternoon the Lightning traveled to Danbury, Connecticut to battle the Colonials of Western Connecticut. In the afternoon tilt the Lightning fell 7-2. Lehman now stands a 3-5.
In the afternoon match, the second doubles pair of
Richard Williams and
Won Sik Park prevailed 8-6. Lehman's lone victory in singles came out of the sixth hole with
Brian Persaud downing his opponent 0-6, 7-5, 10-5.
