Bronx, NY - The Lightning (4-5) snapped a two game losing streak, downing St. Joseph's Brooklyn (1-5) 8-1.
The Lightning swept the doubles competition to take a 3-0 lead.
Michael Forte and
Jeffrey Lecitona prevailed at first doubles 8-5. At second doubles
Richard Williams and
Brian Persaud were victorious 8-3.
Won Sik Park and
Elvis Mejia won at third doubles 8-3.
In singles the Lightning took the first four to clinch the match. Forte, Williams, Lecitona, and Park all won in straight sets. After dropping fourth singles,
Adriel Grant rallied at sixth singles to earn the final point.
