Staten Island, NY – Michael Forte's victory at number singles was the bright spot as the Lightning tennis squad as they fell 8-1 to Staten Island (4-3:2-0).

Forte dropped the first set at love but then won the second 7-6 and the third 10-8.  At number two and three Richard Williams fell 6-1, 6-3 and Won Sik Park 6-4, 6-3.  Brian Persaud was able to pick up one game at fifth singles but Adriel Grant and Elvis Mejia lost at love. 

In doubles Forte paired with Williams at number one and were defeated 8-0.  The teams of Sik Park and Grant as well as Persaud and Mejia fell 8-1. 

Lehman will be back on the courts on Sunday as they host Albertus Magnus at 11:00 AM.
