Men's Improves to 6-4 with 5-4 Victory over Western Connecticut

Box Score Bronx, NY - The Lehman College men's tennis team edged out Western Connecticut 5-4, to capture third-straight win and improve to 6-4 overall on the season.  The Lightning took two of three in doubles play and split the singles matches to earn the victory.

Jason Strudwick and Richard Williams won at first doubles, 8-6.  The other point came from the team of Ioannis Vasos and Rodney Tapia, who prevailed in their match, 8-4.

In singles play, Strudwick dropped the first set, 4-6, but rebounded to win 7-5, 6-3.  Won Sik Park earned a point with a 6-2, 6-4 score.  The final point came from Arman Hossain, who won his match, 6-1, 7-5.

The Lehman College men's tennis team returns to action on Friday, April 13, when they face St. Joseph's College Brooklyn from the Apex Tennis Courts at 3:30 PM.
