Men's Tennis Gets 8-1 Win on Senior Day

Box Score Bronx, N.Y. - The Lehman College men's tennis team sent their three seniors out as winners with an 8-1 triumph over St. Joseph's College in a match played on the Apex Tennis courts on Friday.  The team has now won three straight and is 6-4 overall on the season.  Prior to the match, Jason Strudwick, Won Sik Park and Brian Persuad were honored as the seniors on the team.

Lehman swept the doubles matches, 3-0.  The combination of Strudwick and Richard Williams won their match, 8-1.  The pairing of Michael Forte and Park didn't drop a set, prevailing 8-0.  Finally the group of Ioannis Vasos and Arman Hossain triumphed, 8-1.

Park and Vasos didn't drop a game in either of their singles matches, as they won love and love.  Strudwick prevailed 6-0, 6-1, while Forte came out ahead, 6-2, 6-0.  Finally, Williams won, 6-3, 6-1.

The Lehman College men's tennis team returns to conference action on Saturday, April 14, when they host John Jay at noon.
