Bronx, N.Y. – A hat-trick from sophomore midfielder
Melanie Siranaula led Lehman College women's soccer team to a 6-0 home victory over conference rival York College at South Field on Saturday. The Lightning improve to 4-1-1, 2-0 CUNYAC, while the Cardinals drop to 0-8-1, 0-2 in conference play.

Micaela Canapa. Then six minutes later Siranaula notched her first of three goals on the game with a shot that went off the hands of York's goalkeeper Stephanie Gutierrez.

Daisy Gomez made it 4-0 for the Lightning when she scored her fourth goal of the season in the 19
th minute-mark.
After Siranaula had her second tally in 55

Daniela Castro scored her first goal of the season after grabbing a loose ball in 74
th minute.
Siranaula closed out the scoring for Lehman with her third goal of the match with eight minutes remaining off an assist from Herrera.
The Lightning outshot the Cardinals 23-1 as sophomore goalkeeper
Rebecca Gritz didn't need to make a save to earn her third shutout of season.
Lehman hits the road next Wednesday for another CUNYAC match-up at 6 pm against CCNY at Purchase, N.Y.
