Madison, N.J. – The Lehman College men's tennis team opened its 2020 campaign with a 7-2 loss at Drew University in a non-conference match-up at Drew Tennis Complex on Wednesday.  The Lightning go to 0-1, while the Rangers remain undefeated with an 11-0 mark.

After dropping the first two doubles matches, Lehman avoided the sweep as #1 pair of Michael Forte and Steven Forte posted an 8-5 win over Drew's duo of Jeremy Gottlieb/Karel Raska.

In singles action, Steven Forte was once again victorious for the Lightning as he defeated the Rangers #2 - Dan Blumenthal in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2.

Lehman returns to action on Saturday when it takes on non-conference opponent Purchase College in its home opener at The APEX Tennis Courts with first serve set for noon.
