Match Recap: Men's Tennis |

Hawks Top Lightning

The Lehman College men's tennis team returned to the APEX on Wednesday for a rematch with conference rival, Hunter College. The Lightning fell 8-1. 
 
The Hawks (4-3) swept doubles with the closest match being an 8-7 (5) first court win for Chris Popovic and Jairo Molina over Lehman Juniors Steven Forte and Oscar Garcia. Forte put the Lightning on the board with a 6-2, 6-0 win over Popovic at #1 singles. The rest went the way of the Hawks. Molina won 6-1, 6-3 over Garcia at #2. Lehman's Christian Agudo fell 6-0, 6-3 at #3 singles to Hunter's Nick Caicedo.
 
Lehman (2-6) hits the road Thursday for a match at Western Connecticut State. First serve is slated for 3pm. The Lightning then return home on Saturday to host Sarah Lawrence College at 11am.
