Tennis Falls to Sarah Lawrence in Regular Season Finale

The Lehman College men's tennis team returned to action on Saturday hosting Sarah Lawrence College. Despite wins at #1 and #5 singles, the Lighting dropped the dual, 7-2.
 
The Gryphons swept doubles with the closest result being an 8-7 (5) score on the top court.
 
Junior Oscar Garcia put the Lightning on the board with a 6-0, 6-4 win at #1 singles. Freshman Jimmy Evans won a closely contested match on court #5, 6-3, 7-5. The rest of the matches went the way of the Gryphons.
 
Lehman hits the road next Sunday May 1, for the CUNYAC semifinals against Baruch. First serve is slated for 1pm at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing.
