Bronx, N.Y. – Forward Ramatoulaye "Rama" Diallo scored 22 points and grabbed eight rebounds for the Lehman College women's basketball team as it fell 65-49 to visiting John Jay College on Wednesday evening in a CUNYAC encounter at The APEX Main Gym. The Lightning go to a 7-16 overall record and 6-6 in CUNYAC action, while the Bloodhounds improved to a 14-7 mark and 8-2 in conference play.
After Lehman took an 8-7 advantage at the end of the first quarter, John Jay went on a 23 to 18 run to take a 30-26 lead at the intermission. The Bloodhounds, then outscored the Lightning 14-12 in the third period and then 21-11 in the fourth for the victory.
Center Myandra "Meme" Duquesnay had 14 points for Lehman, while guard
Jordyn Perez added six points.
The already playoff bound Lightning continue CUNYAC action on Friday (February 9th) when they travels to Manhattan to take on the Hunter College Hawks at 5 pm ET.
