Box Score Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's tennis team dropped its home opener to John Jay College, 7-2, in a CUNYAC encounter, at The APEX courts on Friday. The Lightning go to a 0-1 record (0-1 CUNYAC), while the Bloodhounds improved to a 1-3 mark (1-0 CUNYAC).

The highlight for Lehman was Richie Magaribi as he won his #2 singles encounter, 6-4, 6-2, against John Jay's Deondre Mckenzie.

Also victorious for the Lightning was Shariff Keita by winning #6 singles match-up, 6-2, 6-3, over the Bloodhounds' Nathaniel Barnaby.

Lehman will be back in action on Saturday (March 30th) when it travels to Farmingdale State College for a non-conference encounter at 3 pm ET.
