Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's tennis team dropped a 5-0, shortened match due to weather, in its home regular season finale against non-conference opponent Western Connecticut State on Wednesday at The APEX courts. The Lightning go to an 0-6 overall record, while the Wolves improved to a 5-6 mark.
Prior the matches, the Lehman athletics department honored its seniors
Christian Agudo,
Christopher Ramirez and
Juan Rodriguez, who were playing their final season encounters.
The Lightning's Rodriguez and
Taishawn Brownlee were the only duo to avoid a shutout in doubles as they dropped an 8-1 decision.
Also, due to the rain only two singles matches were completed as both Agudo and
Jimmy Evans lost 8-0, respectively for Lehman.
The Lightning are back in action on Friday (April 19th) as they visit FDU-Florham in a non-conference match-up at 3:30 pm ET.
