Box Score Purchase, N.Y. – Despite 24 points and eight rebounds by guard
Heaven Figueroa, the Lehman College women's basketball team fell by a score of 81-75 to Cedar Crest College to conclude its participation at the Purchase Panther Classic at SUNY Gymnasium on Saturday. The Lightning go to a 1-1 overall mark, while the Falcons improved to a 2-0 record.
After trailing by 11 points (47-36) at the half, Lehman attempted a comeback in the third quarter and cut the lead to three (58-55) with 2:39 remaining. However, Cedar Crest closed out the period with a 9 to 2 run for a 10-point advantage.
The Lightning went on a 19 to 14 run in the fourth quarter, however the Falcons held on for the victory.

Sage Fanelli scored 19 points, while teammate
Emily Kennedy added 11 points for Lehman.
The Lightning are back in action next Friday (November 14th) when they travel to Baltimore, Md. with a match-up against Penn State Berks at the Goucher Tournament with tip-off set for 7 pm ET.
