Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's soccer team fell by a score of 7-0 to visiting Centenary University-NJ, in a non-conference encounter, at South Field on Saturday. The Lightning go to a 0-5 overall record, while the Cyclones improved to a 3-4-1 mark.
Centenary jumped out to a 4-0 lead after the first 45 minutes of play with two tallies from midfielder Elizabeth Fogarty and one each from defender Ashley Fogarty and forward Liliana Flores. In the second half, midfielders Jessica Smith, Amy Kim and defender Alissandra Auletta closed out the scoring for the Cyclones.
The highlight for Lehman was goalkeeper Katelyn Rice with 10 saves.
The Lightning are back in action next Tuesday (September 30th) when it hosts Pratt Institute, in a non-conference encounter, at South Field with kickoff set for 4 pm ET.
