Lehman College freshman Amanda Montano has been named CUNYAC Cross Country Female Rookie of the Week for the week ending October 11, 2026.

This is the fourth time this fall where Montano has earned CUNYAC Rookie of the Week honors.

This past week, in a double dual with Yeshiva and CCNY, the freshman posted a 21:45 in the 5K in Central Park.

Montano and her teammates will be back in action on Saturday in another dual meet with Medgar Evers and Saint Elizabeth.  The teams will run the course at Giralda Farms in New Jersey.
