The Lightning were pitted against the top seed CCNY Beavers in the conference semifinals this afternoon on Randall's Island and came out on the short end of a 6-0 decision.
Lehman held the Beavers scoreless for the first 22 minutes before surrendering the game's first goal. City doubled their advantage 20 minutes later to take a 2-0 lead at halftime. In the second half, it was all CCNY as the Beaver offense exploded for 4 four more goals en route to victory.
The Lehman offense could not find their footing all afternoon as the Lightning only managed one shot on goal.
The Beavers move on to face John Jay in the CUNYAC final next Saturday afternoon.
