Softball Falter Against William Paterson

Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College softball team falter in a non-conference twin-bill against visiting William Paterson University losing 20-1, 16-0, at South Field on Thursday.  The Lightning go to a 1-9 overall record, while Pioneers improved to a 10-9 mark.

The highlights for Lehman came in only the first game of the doubleheader with outfielder Zenaya Ortiz scored the only run after she stole home plate, while teammate Catalina Hernandez and pitcher Damaris Adames both went one-for-two.

The Lightning are back in action on Saturday (April 4th) when they travel to Randall's Island to take on the hosts Hunter College in a CUNYAC twin-bill with first pitch set for noon.
