2014-15: Was part of the first place 200-fly relay team at the College of Mount Saint Vincent Relay Meet (10/18)... won the 100-fly (59.15) and the 1000-free (11:32.02) at Old Westbury (11/20)... won two long distance races, earning gold in the 500-free (5:33.37) and coming in first in the 1000-free, with a time of 11:58.54, vs. SUNY Purchase (11/24)... placed tenth in the 1650-free with a time of 19:10.88, finished in 45th place in the 200-IM, and was part of the 400-free relay team that finished ninth, in 3:22.87, at the ECAC Winter Championships (12/5-12/7)... earned victories in both long distance races, finishing the 1000-free in 12:03.70, and the 500-free in 5:33.42, against Brooklyn College (1/7)... won a very competitive 1000-free race, as he completed the long distance event in 11:21.09, just over four seconds ahead of the second-place finisher from CSI, at the College of Staten Island (1/13)... earned gold in the 800-free, winning the race by 0.01, at Baruch (1/16)... was a member of the first place 200-medley relay team, and earned gold in the 200-free, against York (1/20)... was a member of the first place 200-medley relay team against William Paterson University (1/22)... earned a second place finish in the 400-IM, was part of the second place 800-free "A" relay team, earned a fourth place finish in the 1650-free, finished fourth in the 200-fly, and was part of the third place 400-free relay team at the CUNYAC Championships (2/6-2/8)... received CUNYAC All-Star status and was named to the conference's Sportsmanship Team (2/10)... earned 42nd place in both the 200-free and 500-free events, as well as 27th place in the 200-fly, in the Metropolitan Championships (2/20-2/22).
2013-14: Won both the 50-free and 500-free races at Brooklyn College... finished on the podium in the 400-yard individual medley, coming in third with a time of 4:57.11, placed second in the 1,650-yard freestyle, and fourth in the 200-butterfly, at the CUNYAC Championships... named a CUNYAC All-Star in the 1,650 Freestyle.
2012-13: First season at Lehman College... took fifth in the 200-yard individual medley at the CUNY Athletic Conference/Applebee's Championships.
Personal: The son of Muki and Hamide Mernica... majoring in exercise science... was named the most valuable performer of the Roosevelt swim team in 2011.
