2013-14: Was a double-winner for Lehman, winning the 1000-free and 100-fly, vs. Mt. St. Vincent... earned first place in the 100-breast and the 200-IM vs. Purchase College... earned first place in the 200-free, and was also a member of the winning 200-medley relay team, vs. Maritime... won the 50-free at York... won the 100-butterfly and the 100-breaststroke at William Paterson... took home second place in the 200-individual medley, second in the 100-breaststroke, and second in the 200-breaststroke, at the CUNYAC Championships... named a CUNYAC All-Star in the 400 Medley Relay, the 200 Medley Relay, the 200 individual medley, the 100 Breast stroke, and the 200 Breaststroke.
2012-13: First season at Lehman College... won the 200-individual medley (2:09.88), the 100-breaststroke (1:04.42), and was a member of the winning 200-medley relay team, with a combined time of 1:44.19, at Maritime... won the 100-fly, in 54.94, vs. Old Westbury... set a new school record in the 100-yard breaststroke, with a time of 1:00.50, vs. William Paterson... set a school record in the 200-yard individual medley, with a time of 2:01.28, set an individual record in the 200-breast, took home the gold in the 100-yard breaststroke, with a time of 1:00.80, and was a member of the 400-free relay team that won first place and set a new school record, at the CUNY Athletic Conference/Applebee's Championships... was named a CUNYAC All-Star... named the team's Rookie of the Year.
Personal: The son of Melanie and Dumitru Preda... majoring in exercise science... is a four-time high school regional champion.
