Biography
The 411 on Modibo Keita
Modibo Keita joins the Lehman College men's basketball team after transferring from Hostos Community College. It is believed that he may very well be the strongest player on the team this season.
At 6'3, Keita won the preseason strength test. Known as a hard-working, athletic player, the Bronx, NY native has the ability to grab those tough rebounds, defend post players, give fouls in the lane, and flat out out-work opponents. Coach Schulman classifies Keita as a "high character individual who is strong and works exceptionally hard for the benefit of the team."
As a newcomer, he'll be depended upon to do whatever the coaching staff needs him to do, and he's more than willing to meet that. Expect to see Keita on the court during some of the Lightning's bigger contests this season
