Melilli completed her sixth season at the helm of women's soccer program in 2019 as Lightning reached CUNYAC Championship Semifinals for a sixth consecutive year.  She has 51-47-4 overall record with the Lightning.

Lehman concluded 2019 with a 4-11 overall ledger, however finished second in CUNYAC Regular Season Standings with a 4-1 mark.

In 2018, Melilli led Lehman to a 7-7-1 record however its offense outscored its opponents 34 to 26, while its defense posted five team shut outs.

In 2017, the Lightning had a 10-8-1 ledger and were one game shy of their first CUNYAC Title, however, the team lost in the final.

In Melilli’s third season (2016), Lehman finished with an 8-8-1 mark and reached the CUNYAC semifinals

During Melilli’s second season in charge, Lehman won the CUNYAC regular season and she was named CUNYAC Coach of the Year for the second year in a row.   The Lightning ended the 2015 campaign with a mark of 14-4 to set a new school records for wins.  Lehman also netted a program record 77 goals during the 2015 season.

In her inaugural season in 2014, Melilli guided the Lightning to an 8-9-1 overall record, including a 4-2 mark and third place finish in the CUNY Athletic Conference. Lehman then advanced into the post-season for the first time in the program’s history, with a spot in the ECAC Metro/Upstate Region Championships.  For her efforts, she was voted the CUNYAC Coach of the Year, in a vote by the head coaches in the league.

Melilli career at Lehman commenced in 2013 as she served as assistant coach. Previously, she had served as the head coach for the girls program at Rye Neck High School. During her three seasons at Rye Neck, she focused on fundamentals, and recorded back-to-back winning seasons.

A native of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., she was a four-year member of the women’s soccer team at Division II Pace University, where she was the captain of the team in her final season. In 53 games played, the defensive midfielder scored two goals, including the game-winner against American International College in her senior season.

Melilli earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from Pace and is currently a match teacher at PS 187, a middle school in Manhattan.
