Greg Page

Gregory Page brings a wealth of experience to the Lightning, having previously coached the men’s and women’s cross country (CC) and track and field teams at New York University (1984-98), where he was the youngest-ever recipient of the IC4A Silver Coaching Award.  He led the NYU men’s track and field team to a top 10 placing in national power rankings, while also earning NCAA Division III coaching accolades.

Page was assistant men’s and women’s CC as well as track and field coach at the University of Rochester from 1981-84.  Earlier, he had founded the women’s CC/track teams at Division I’s Syracuse University during his tenure from 1979-81 and brought the program from club to varsity status in two years.

A former distance runner and 50km race walker, Page was also an assistant coach for men’s CC and track at Ithaca College from 1978-79.  He had previously founded the women’s CC/track teams at Cornell University, coaching at the the Ivy League school from 1973-78.

Page, who is proficient in German, Spanish, French, Hindi, Cambodian, and American Sign Language, earned a degree in linguistics from Cornell in 1973 and obtained a master’s in physical education/coaching from Syracuse in 1981.  He also received a JD and MBA from Fordham University in 2004 and works as a contract attorney.

Page currently resides in New York City.
