Lehman College Athletics

Bob Harris has been the Fitness Center Manager at the Apex since the building opened its doors in 1994. Prior to his duties at Lehman College, Harris served as the Director of the Fitness Center and Wellness Program at the Mutual of New York in Westchester County. Harris received his Bachelor's Degree from SUNY-Cortland before going to the University of Connecticut to study excercise physiology, where he obtained a Master's Degree.

As the Fitness Center Manager, Harris is responible for the year-round conditioning of Lehman's student-athletes. Throughout the year, Harris operates the preseason, in-season, and postseason fitness programs for Lehman athletics. He is also in charge of ensuring that Lehman's student-athletes are fit for competition by performing fitness evaluations on a regular basis. 

In addition assisting the student-athletes, Harris' regular duties include developing programs for the Apex Fitness Center and managing the daily operations of the facility.

Harris lives in Connecticut with his wife Nancy and three children, Melissa, Michael, and Matthew.
