Lehman College Athletics

A mainstay of the Lehman College athletic program, Taft Garnder has served the college in his current capacity since 1983. Since his tenure began, Gardner, a fixture of the athletic department long before the Apex opened its doors, has been responsible for score keeping for the basketball, volleyball, baseball, and softball programs.

In addition to scorekeeping, Gardner also serves as the public address announcer for men's and women's volleyball contests and has assisted in many television broadcasts of basketball games for the CUNYAC.
