    Assistant Coach
Before being named an Assistant Coach for the 2023-24 season, Venu Paniker served in multiple key roles within the Lightning program. He began as Team Manager during the 2021-22 campaign, helping the Lightning to an impressive 21-4 record. The following year, he was promoted to Director of Basketball Operations, where Lehman posted an 18-9 mark.

In his first season as Assistant Coach (2023-24), Paniker helped guide the Lightning to an 18-10 record, followed by a strong 17-7 campaign in 2024-25.

Coach Paniker assists in all aspects of the Division III program. His primary responsibilities include player development, scouting, and recruiting, as well as overseeing the program’s use of advanced basketball software such as FastModel and Synergy.
