BROOKLYN, N.Y. - The Lehman College women's soccer squad ran its winning streak to two games, beating NYU-Polytechnic, 5-1, at Aviator Field. Lehman is now 3-2-0 in its first season of competition.

Tiffany Altamirano (New Rochelle, N.Y./New Rochelle) and Olusawayo Alo (Bronx, N.Y./Emmanuel Comprehensive) each had two goals, while Samantha Dias (Ronkonkoma, N.Y./Connetquot) had the other. Melanie Varillas (New Rochelle, N.Y./New Rochelle) made five saves in goal for the Lightning.

Lehman looks to run its winning streak to three games on Saturday, September 15, when the Dolphins of Mt. St. Vincent come to the South Field. Kickoff is slated for noon.
